One of my all-time favorite songs is journey's "Don't Stop Believin'." Whether I'm out for a morning run or just listening to my iPod while writing, it always inspires me to take on the day.
This summer I'm spending my break in Mississippi where my family just moved. It's so peaceful out here in the country. The grass is green and there are tons of cool train tracks and abandoned roads.
This look I created is inspired by the country and its rustic feel. I paired an easy lace detail swing top with some shortie shorts from American Eagle and brown leather boots, because every girl needs some cowgirl boots. To top it off, I added a crystal statement necklace from J. Crew for a little sparkle. It's a simple look perfect for every country girl at heart whether you're just hanging out with friends or going to a country concert.
